barbles challenge #2!

Hello 2012!

I love seeing your work so much...that's probably the most important thing about blogging to me...you all inspire me in different ways - to try a new product, technique, style - without even knowing it!

To that end, I'm hosting another Barbles Challenge and would LOVE for you to play along!! This one is an inspiration challenge...with a twist...this time there are multiple inspiration photos for you to choose from.

The challenge runs from January 1st-31st

Since there are five Sundays in January, I'm challenging myself to make at least one card to post each Sunday. One card inspired by each inspiration photo. You're welcome to play along as often as you like, using any style and creating any project that you like!

To participate you must:
1- be a follower of my blog
2- post the challenge graphic to your sidebar with a link back to this post
3- create a new, original piece of art (because you're all artists) based on one or a combination of the inspiration photos included below
4- post your art to your blog (include the inspiration photo you chose in your post), with a link back to here and add your deets to InLinkz below

The challenge graphic to post to your blog sidebar

Here are the five inspiration photos you can choose from. All photos were taken by me and Elph.

- 3rd place - $25

from their choice of these fabulous online stores:

- Laura Pryor, the owner of Lil' Inker Designs has offered up her amazing Acorn Die & Mini Pinwheel Die - these are amazing dies - and she's so generous!!!
- The Alley Way Stamps - I'm giving away the first release for this amazing new stamp company = 4 sets!!!
- DeNami Design
- Papertrey Ink
- The Alley Way Stamps

Yes, you have some amazing photos to use as inspiration. Not sure I'd be able to pick ... might have to create more than one as well
:-)

Wow - great photos! ;-D Not sure how I will choose just one, too.

I'm so sorry you have not been feeling well. :-S I know it is the season for illnesses, but that doesn't make it any more fun to have one! I hope your perpetual cold will soon leave you alone and let you get back to business!

Cheers and Hugs to you. ;-)

I sorry you are not feeling well.. That is so sad. This time of year brings unwanted sickness. I hope that you start to feel much better soon. Take care and make sure your getting lots of fluids.

How awesome are these inspiration photos? I can't wait to get some creating done myself. It sucks that you're still sick...get rid of that already. I'm betting the travel doesn't help with that either.

Wow this is so cool! I came here by way of Annette. I am looking forward to using one of your pics for inspiration! I love that you captured your cat yawning. And my cat also likes to walk on my scrapbook stuff or keyboard while I'm typing :) Good stuff :)

Oooh what an awesome contest! Thanks so much for the love on my blog, definitely made my night! :) Will definitely give your challenge a go this week. :) Oh and I love you kitty! Such a beauty! Mine is currently eyeing me with sad eyes right now because we finally took down the tree today. It was his favorite place for naps.

Such beautiful photos, Barb, and very generous prizes. I finally found time to play along. May have another card if the idea in my head makes it to paper in time. :) Ann

I lived in NS for a summer and was wondering if the Kinsale that was in your old blog name was the Kinsale in NS or Ireland till I watched your TAWS review this am! Lovely place!

Sorry Barb about not posting a comment here lastnight. I was in such a frenzy to get everything uploaded to your blog that I missed this step. Sorry. Thanks so much for such a fun challenge. I actually had a cat card made but that would have prevented me from uploading because I would have had to take another pic. Oh well, I will share it later. Thanks for the beautiful inspiration and for your sweet self. Hugs.
